In this section, you will find a variety of ways to support and assist us in our day-to-day work and it is only through the charitable giving of animal lovers like yourself that we are able to continue doing what we do for the animals in need in the eastern Free State.

Donate and Claim Your Tax Benefits

Donating cash (R100 or more) or property to the Cluny Animal Trust does have its benefits! Did you know that you can reduce your overall tax liability and at the same time you will be supporting animal veterinary welfare by helping us to fund our work and help the animals owned by the poor and previously disadvantaged people within our community.

As we are a registered PBO (PBO No. 930039295) any donations over R100 do qualify for an 18A receipt. This means that you are then entitled to a deduction from your taxable income. So, when you submit your annual tax return to SARS, you need to highlight the donations that you made and this in turn will reduce your overall tax liability, so as the proverbial saying goes – it is a win win!
